8月にアルバム『Thus spoke gentle machine』をリリースしたthe perfect meは9日、初のオフィシャルスタジオライブ映像「the perfect me Studio Live 2020」を公開した。

この映像はアルバムに収録されている6曲のスタジオライブ映像で構成されたもの。
アルバムのレコーディングにも参加しているサポートメンバーを含む4名での編成で、the perfect meの繊細なサウンドスケープをライブパフォーマンスとして再構築している。

収録は福岡県田川市にある小学校の廃校を改造した音楽施設「いいかねPalette」にて行われており、通常のライブとは異なる臨場感あふれる映像となっている。
