【NEWS】 ART-SCHOOLなど日本のバンドに影響を受けたNYのドリーム・ポップ、シューゲイザーbloom waves 新EP公開！

NYのRen Juliusによるソロプロジェクトbloom wavesが5曲入り新EP『Yumi on the Shore』（岸辺のユミ）をbandcampでリリースした。name your price。先日発表したART-SCHOOLのカヴァーをFor Tracy Hyde管梓に絶賛された彼の持ち味が発揮された良質で親しみやすいドリーム・ノイズ・ポップだ。



本人からのメッセージも届いている。

最初のタイトルは「You, Me, on the Shore」（岸辺の君と僕）だった。
でも結局気づいたんだ。これは自分だけでなく、曲を書いてる最中に想っていた人たちみんなの曲だって。
だからYouとMeをあわせてYumi（ユミ）という架空の人名にしたんだ（笑）。
要するに「ユミ」とは、僕の想いと、このEP製作中に僕が聴いてほしいと想っていた人たちみんなを象徴するんだ。

Originally, it was titled “You, Me, on the Shore”.
But in the end I realized I was writing songs that relate to not only ME but to the other people I thought about when writing them.
“You, Me, on the Shore” = “Yumi on the Shore”.
In short: “Yumi” is the personification of my feelings and the feelings of everyone I thought about when writing this EP.
